Introduction: To my World of Pyrography
Like to introduce you to the wonderful world of Pyrography [ The Art of Woodburning ]
its another form of Art work really instead of Pencil ...Paints ...and now today Paint pencils we use Pens or Nibs
these are metal and come in various designs for different work situations more details later on this subject.
Im Mike..born in the United Kingdom in 1944 in Cardiff South Wales....moved to The Netherlands in 1990 at the age of 49
to give my youngest daughter a better life style in Holland. Hopefully we have achieved that aim.
I work here and lived for twenty two years at present and having retired now from work...have more time to devote to my Hobbies
I hav,nt any formal art training but whilst in the Army went further with my Education doing GCE Art First Class
Ithink I have a leaning towards this subject and this is reflected in my Woodburning
I took Pyrography up in 2010.....worked on it for about Five months....but had to put it on hold due to a Heart procedure then
a lung invesigation[ 12 months ] then eventually a stomach operation....but things have turned out fine.
So in Novembe 2011 we unpacked the Burner [ That the machine we use and the pens] and returned to this wonderful world of pyrography
I ask you please to join me as i build this website over the coming days...... and weeks and months...take the journey withj me........Many thanks .
